The Science Discovery Club will be holding a sky-watch session on Mar 2, 2019 on the grounds of S. Chandrasekhar Observatory from 7 to 8 PM. All members of the Science Explorers Club of AECS, Staff Club of RRCAT and HBNI scholars are invited to the screening.
Sky-Watch Plan: Winter Hexagon
We will spend the time watching the constellations that make up the Winter Hexagon and learn how to identify it in the night sky. We will also have a brief discussion (show & tell) on various types of telescopes and the activities planned on the recently installed half-meter reflecting telescope for astro-photography.
