Dear Colleagues,

Sky watch session : Saturday, 13.1.2018 from 9 to 10 PM, Venue : LSCC (near Yog building)

For the second session we continue with viewing the Pleiades and the Orion constellation as many people could not attend the session last week. The Pleiades also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Taurus and the Orion Nebula, known as Messier 42, is a diffuse nebula situated south of Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion. With clear skies the "Winter-Hexagon" is clearly visible. A brief write up on the session is attached. Please note that the venue is lakeside community centre rooftop and the session is from 9 to 10 PM.

With best regards,

Sendhil
