Dear Colleagues,
RRCAT Staff Club announces the start of winter season of Sky watching activity. We had 18 continuous weekly sessions in the earlier season. The starting of the winter session of sky watching was delayed due to cloudy skies well into October. The sky had been clear for the past couple of days so we will re-start the sky watching sessions from this Saturday (Oct 21, 2017) during 7 to 9 PM at school ground. Currently Saturn will be high up in the sky during 7-9 PM so we will start the new season with Saturn. Currently Saturn is oriented with its rings at maximum tilt towards the Earth making it a great view even with a small telescope.
A brief of the plan for the session is attached.
With best regards,
Secretary
RRCAT Staff Club
