Dear Everyone,
An eight-a-side football tournament is going to be held under the umbrella of RRCAT Staff Club from 4th November 2017, on the football ground near the AECS, RRCAT.
In general, the football matches for this tournament shall be held at 7-30 AM and 5 PM on the Saturdays and Sundays. The duration of the matches shall be 1 hour. However, adjustment of timing shall be done to avoid any clash of timing with the on-going cricket tournament of RRCAT Staff Club.
Interested persons are requested to give their names and CHSS/CC numbers to the Convener-Football (either personally, or through e-mail or telephone) by 2nd November 2017.
The names and CHSS/CC numbers may also be given PERSONALLY to Shri Saihun Mundu, Techn.-B, Beam Delivery Systems Lab., IAD, RRCAT; or to Shri R.N. Chaudhary (Co-convener Football), JPA, IRPSU, RRCAT.
It may be noted that only the members of RRCAT Staff Club or their wards can participate in this tournament. Participants may form their teams themselves and may choose their own captains. Individual participants are also welcome. We will help them to form their teams. Three teams are already in the process of formation.
It may also be noted that the prospective participants from RRCAT for the “Selection Trials” for the Dwarka Group of DAE will be chosen on the basis of the performance in the above mentioned tournament, by a panel of experts.
