Dear Colleagues,
Sky Watch session : Saturday, November 18, 2017 during 9-10 PM at Lake Side Community Centre (LSCC) roof top.
Last week we had a brief viewing of Saturn after which the visibility of the sky became very poor. This week we shift our focus away from Saturn and try to view some open cluster of stars. One such attractive group is the Pleiades. The Pleiades also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Taurus clearly visible even to the naked eye. A brief write up on the session is attached.
Please note the change in both venue and timing.
With best regards,
Secretary
