Sky watch session : Saturday, 6.1.2017 from 9 to 10 PM, Venue : LSCC (near Yog building)
We start the first session of the new year with the Pleiades and the Orion constellation. The Pleiades also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45 is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Taurus and the Orion Nebula, known as Messier 42, is a diffuse nebula situated south of Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion. A brief write up on the session is attached. Please note that the venue is lakeside community centre rooftop and the session is from 9 to 10 PM.
