The Science Discovery Club will be screening the first episode of the five part BBC series "Natural World Collection" on Mar 15, 2019 in the Vikram Sarabhai Hall, Convention Centre, from 7 to 8 PM. All members of the Science Explorers Club of AECS, Staff Club of RRCAT and HBNI scholars are invited to the screening.

Episode Brief: Natural World Collection

This incredible Natural World Collection comprises of 5 amazing episodes which are informative and brings a whole new perspective on its subjects. The first episode focuses on the reality of otters as the narrative finely rendered by Philippa Forrester and John James makes a comparison between the famous novel, Tarka the Otter and the present reality of these interesting animals. The second episode presented by Martyn Colbeck takes an exciting in-depth look into the lives of elephants and focuses its narrative on Congo. The Bear Man of Kamchatka is a fascinating third episode based on the life of Charlie Russell who has devoted his life for the well-being of grizzly bears from the Kamchatka Peninsula. An interesting take on the encounter between a honeybee and the lethal Japanese giant hornet will keep you intrigued in the forth episode. The life of salt-water crocodiles from the heartland of Australia forms the core of the last and fifth episode in this amazing collection. (Source Wikipedia).
