Venue: Medical Center, RRCAT Colony
Date/Time: 16th June 2019, 10 am to 1 pm, SUNDAY
Registration will be done on first come first serve basis. It is expected that initial ~ 25 cases can be tested in available time.
Residents are encourage to take maximum use of this opportunity.

BONE MINERAL DENSITY is an instant quantitative investigation to assess the quality of bone and its strength in terms of T-score. It helps us to identify weak and osteoporotic patients from the lot usually with Advanced age, Post menopause, Diabetes, Arthritis, Thyroid issues, Alcoholics, on chronic medicine therapies. People with lack of Calcium and Vitamin D tend to acquire OSTEOPENIA (weak bones) or OSTEOPOROSIS (very weak/fragile bones). Since it's treatable and curable, an early diagnosis is the key.
